The Preparing Future Faculty Program at Universidad Central del Caribe (UCC) trains Ph.D. candidates in biomedical research and in educational methodology, to prepare them for future careers as academic scientist and educators.
- Streamline UCC RISE Pedagogical Training and expand implementation across UCC trainees.
- To enhance graduate student research and teaching training through partnerships with research-intensive institutions, Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUI) and other entities.
- To strengthen UCC’s talent recruitment strategies to attract and retain UR students to biomedical research programs.
- To develop the necessary professional skills and attitudes in graduate students to enter and effectively compete in the current workforce.
